This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which thundermodules.com ("ThunderModules LLC", "ThunderModules", "We") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from customers (each, a "Customer") of all thundermodules.com software ("Applications"). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the term "Applications" shall include all web pages, web applications, mobile applications, voice applications, bots, or any other software created or offered by thundermodules.com.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Customers in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Customers visit our Applications, register on the Applications, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Applications. Customers may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. Customers may, however, visit our Applications anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Customers only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Customers can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Application related activities.

1.2 Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Customers whenever they interact with our Applications. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer, and technical information about Customers' means of connection to our Applications, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information. The collection of this type of data cannot be used to identify Customers but is rather used to allow us to provide effective services on the Applications. The collection is anonymous, and we may share it with third-party partners for analytics, statistics, and learning customer patterns.

1.3 Cookies

We utilize certain technologies to recognize you when you use the Applications, track your interactions with the Applications, and personalize your experience. These include devices such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar devices. Cookies are small data files we transfer to your computer's hard drive. We utilize some cookies that remain on your computer after you leave the website so that we can recognize you when you return and provide a more personalized and helpful experience. We also utilize session cookies to enable certain features of the website, to better understand how users interact with the website and monitor the use of the website users and web traffic to the website. Session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the website and close your browser. If you choose not to accept cookies, you may not be able to access portions of the website or all functionality of the Applications.

2. How We use collected information

We may collect and use Customer personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service; The information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

  • To personalize user experience; We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Customers as a group use the services and resources provided on our Applications.

  • To improve our Applications; We may use the feedback you provide to improve our products and services.

  • To process payments; We may use the information Customers provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

  • To run promotions, contests, surveys, or other Applications features.

  • To send periodic emails; We may use the email address to send Customer information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If Customer decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the Customer would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or Customer may contact us via our Applications.

3. Security

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to ensure we provide our best efforts to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our Applications.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Applications and their Customers happens over SSL-secured communication channels and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
Having all that said, we follow recommended practices to protect your data, and keep it safe, and not reachable by unwanted third-party applications. However, we do not guarantee the security of your information. If a data leak of any kind happens - we will allocate resources to restore and protect your data.

4. Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Customers' personal identification information to others.

4.1 Upon Consent

We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

4.2 Third-party service providers

We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Applications or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission or if disclosure of such information is necessary to protect ThunderModules rights, property, or safety of our company and our issues.

4.3 Protection of ThunderModules, Customers, or Others

We may disclose your information, including Personal Information, if we believe it is necessary to protect the property and/or rights of ThunderModules, you, or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, in the event of a legal dispute, or to prevent or stop activity we believe may pose a risk of being illegal, unethical or in violation of the Terms of Service.

4.4 Policy Regarding Children

If you are under 18 years of age, ThunderModules will not intentionally collect personal data of persons under 18 years old. If you are under 18 years of age and wish to use the Applications in a way that requires you to submit personal information, please have a parent or guardian submit personal information on your behalf.

5. Billing & payments

ThunderModules uses third-party payment processors (Stripe) to assist in processing your payment information securely. Such third-party processors’ use of your Personal Information is governed by their respective privacy policies which may or may not contain privacy protections as protective as this Policy. We suggest that you review their (Stripe's) respective privacy policies.

6. Third-party websites

ThunderModules' websites may contain links to other websites. The information practices and the content of other websites are governed by the privacy notices found therein. We are not responsible for the information practices and content of other websites.

7. California Privacy Rights

In addition to the rights as explained in this Policy, California residents who provide Personal Information (as defined in the statute) to obtain products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once a calendar year, information about the Personal Information we shared, if any, with other businesses for marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of Personal Information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared such personal information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in the current year will receive information about the prior year). 8. Data protection rights under GDPR

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights and ThunderModules aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Information. If you wish to be informed what Personal Information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us. In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

  • You have the right to request access to your Personal Information that we store and have ability to access your Personal Information.

  • You have the right to request that we correct any Personal Information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete the Personal Information you believe is incomplete.

  • You have the right to request the erase your Personal Information under certain conditions of this Policy.

  • You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Information.

  • You have the right to seek restrictions on the processing of your Personal Information. When you restrict the processing of your Personal Information, we may store it but will not process it further.

  • You have the right to be provided with a copy of the information we have on you in a structured, machine-readable, and commonly used format.

  • You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

  • You have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your Personal Information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority in the European Economic Area (EEA).

We have the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. We encourage Customers to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

10. Your acceptance of these terms

By using our Applications, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Applications. Your continued use of the Applications following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
